The Powder DED Process
Addiguru has developed a method to monitor the Laser Powder Directed Energy Deposition (DED) process. The monitoring involves using an optical camera in line with the laser to detect the melt pool profile. The Addiguru software can measure the melt pool profile in real-time or of previously recorded videos.
