The Arc DED Process
Addiguru has developed a method to monitor the Arc Directed Energy Deposition (DED) process. The monitoring involves using an optical camera to capture layer-by-layer data. The infrared camera is used to detect the Inter Layer Temperature (ILT) and provide feedback based on the detection of the issues. Addiguru software can input the arc voltage and current data from the data collection platforms and provide notifications of anomalies to a user.
