Position Description and Requirements
Addiguru is looking for an individual to work as an Applications Engineer. The role is multi-dimensional where the candidate will work with sensors, additive manufacturing machines as well as software. The position does not require the candidate to write software code but the candidate will work with software engineers as well as customers. Assistance with R&D projects related to Additive Manufacturing is another important part of the job.
The company is growing fast and the individual will grow quickly into a key technical leader or other managerial positions in the company as per their interests. This is a huge opportunity for career growth for a potential candidate.
We are looking for the following qualifications:
- Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or Additive Manufacturing degree
- Experience with polymer 3D Printing or metal additive manufacturing
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Extensive knowledge with an eye towards the future
- Ability to work in team environments
Other experiences that are optional but would be very valuable to the company are:
- Electrical, Electronics, Materials, Mechanical or Aerospace industry experience
- Software engineering experience
- Experience with AI/ML technology especially Convolutional Neural Networks
- Experience with computer vision
- Advanced technological skill set and a demonstrated history with technology
- Experience for working in a start-up
- Location: Remote work is fine, but the employee has to be within the USA. Preferably in Tennessee.
- Remuneration: The salary and other details will be based on the expertise and experience. The person may be able to get equity (shares) in the company. Salary range is $60,000 to $80,000 per year.
